Enabling the Add-On
To enable to add-on go to Settings » Advanced Settings » Search for the Froala Enable Stock Photo Library setting:
Click on the checkboxes to enable the feature in the different Froala Editors. For more details about this, please refer to this article: FROALA Text Editor: Versions and their Upload Functionalities.
Important Note: If only the advanced setting has been turned on the Stock Photos will be available for all members by default. To restrict this feature to only some membership plans scroll down to see the Membership Plan settings.
Once the feature has been enabled, click on the insert image option in the Froala editor and select the Library option:
Search by Keyword using the designated field:
Choose the image orientation:
Click on one of the available libraries and then on "Search Photos":
Select the desired size for the image to be used. The different image sizes will show in the upper left corner:
Click on the download button to add the image:
This is what it will look like:
Enable the Option For Post Feature Images in Single Post types
This option will allow for members to choose the post feature image. To search for the images, create or edit a post and click on the Stock Photos button:
A pop-up will show to search for the image. Enter the name, select the orientation and pick a library, then, click on search photos:
Select the size and click on the download button to use the image:
**Important Note: This option is currently available for single-image post types only (Articles, Blogs, Jobs, Coupons, Events & Discussions).
Enabling the Feature in a Membership Plan:
If only the advanced setting has been turned on, but this has not been activated in the Membership Plans, the Stock Photos will be available for all members by default. This section explains how to limit this feature per membership plan.
It is possible to enable this feature on a membership plan basis. To do it go to Finance » Membership Plans » click Edit on any of the membership plans in the admin area:
Use the keyword search or go to the Member's Dashboard tab and look for the "Enable Free Stock Images in Text Editor" setting, click on "Yes" to allow members in this plan to use the feature:
Enabling the Feature for Individual Members:
It is also possible to allow individual members to use this feature, this is helpful if the admin would only like for specific members to use it.
Go to My Members » Search My Members » Click on the "Quick Edit" option under Actions dropdown:
Move to the Listing Settings tab and select "Yes" or "No" for the Enable Free Stock Images in Text Editors option:
Important: Keep in mind that the Quick Edit member option will override the membership plan setting.
Enabling the Feature in the Private Member Chat add-on:
Members can select images from the Stock Image Library while chatting between them.
