Website Alerts:
On the Header section, sometimes a message called Website Alerts will display with a number. This indicates how many issues must be addressed on the site.
After clicking on this alert a pop-up message will appear elaborating on the issues that must be addressed for the site to work correctly. Most of the times these will notify about updates that have been added and which custom widgets may conflict with those updates and therefore functionality of the site:
As shown in the image above this message will also have a Learn How button that links to an article on how to fix these conflicts. There will also be an option to ignore the alert.
Notice: Brilliant Directories offers a Platform as a Service, and as so we are continuously improving and updating our platform.
When we develop these updates we take into account that many sites have custom widgets, so some customizations may not be designed to work with the updates. It is up to the 3rd party developers to give maintenance to any custom widgets to keep them up to date to work with our platform updates. However, our default widgets are fully supported by our support team and developers.
