Displaying Top-Level and Sub-Level Categories On The Homepage

This guide demonstrates the setup utilizing the Streaming Top Categories widget. For displaying lower-tier categories on the homepage, select the Streaming Sub Level Categories widget instead. The configuration steps for both options remain identical. 

To display Top-Level Categories on the homepage, navigate to Settings >> Design Settings >> Homepage tab >> Select Streaming Top Categories option under Select Content to Display section:

Clicking on Edit Settings will display a module where this widget can be edited further:

The next step would be adding related images to each categories.

• Navigation Path: My Members » Member Categories

• Image Requirement: Upload a specific image to each category row.

• Recommended Image Dimensions: 400px by 200px.

Inside the Edit Settings module for the streaming widget, the visibility of the categories is determined by the following rule:

• Enabled ("Only Show Categories with Photos"): The homepage widget will automatically hide any category that lacks an uploaded image.

• Disabled ("Only Show Categories with Photos"): All selected categories will display on the homepage, regardless of whether a placeholder image has been uploaded.
