I am working with Post Affiliate Pro and need to see if the following general change to the signup form can be implemented.
Brilliant Directories isn't setting the customer's email to the customer email field in Stripe (need that one thing to happen to be able to track using Post Affiliate Pro).
Could you customize how Stripe integration works so that it would also set the customer's email address to the Stripe customer object which is created with the payment. More specifically, would it be possible to extend the integration with Stripe with either or both of the following?
1. Add the email address the customer has filled in on the checkout form to the customer object in Stripe.
2. Add an option to save into Stripe customer object's "description" field the content of any field of the checkout form, so have an input field somewhere in the admin for the "description" field in Stripe's integration and allow merge tags/variables there which would represent the fields of the form.
If either of this can be done then we can solve the problem and be able to track the orders and credit the sale to the affiliate in Post Affiliate Pro program we have.
This is a major issue that BD is NOT sending emails to Stripe. Is there a fix for this???
